(kinda spoiiled..)
Starbucks chocolate chip cookies
About 'STARBUCKS chocolate chip cookie'๐ช
Last week, I tried a Starbucks chocolate chip cookie
called the "Dark Chocolate Cowboy Cookie"
and it was so awesome that
I regretted not trying it sooner๐
It was loaded with tons of chocolate chips
- so many that it felt like there were more chips than flour!
And the large sugar particles on top gave it a crispy texture that I loved.
But, to burn off the calories,
I would literally have to run around the entire earth seven times.
Nevertheless, I thought it was totally worth it.
Because I loved the cookie so much, I tried to make it at home.
This it how the cookie looks๐
And as you see,
the cookies I baked look totally different from this haha..
Perhaps I mixed the ingredients incorrect way
or overworked the dough.
The texture was too tough
and the cookie spread out too much.
The taste also wasn't the best,
but it's really easy to make!
And I think it would turn out much better
if I try it a few more times.
'INGREDIENTS'
Cake flour 180g
baking soda 3g
salt 2g
- usually put this with the eggs to be mixed well
unsalted butter, room temp 110g
- try wrapping the weighed butter and use your hand to make it room temp
muscovado sugar 60g
granulated sugar 80g
coffee powder, optional 2g
vanilla extract 5mL
1 egg, room temp
chocolate chips 170g
I used the dark and white chocolate chips together!
cuz I love the baked white chocolate's color on the cookie.
"Have you seen this cute Korean flour brand?"
There's a polar bear image on the top of the flour packaging
and it says "flour by the bear".
They probably chose a polar bear as their mascot
because the flour might look like an iceberg in polar regions.
How clever and cute!
'HOW TO MAKE'
1. Whip the butter until it gets creamy.
2. Add white sugar, brown sugar, salt, vanilla extract, coffee powder and mix.
Try not to over-mix.
3. Put the eggs in 3 parts. Make sure that the eggs mixed well, but not to overmix. If it's overmixed.. the cookies are gonna be thin and flat๐๐
4. Sift the flour, baking soda and mix it.
5. Add chocolate chips.
(This pic shines because of the chocolates..haha)
7. Preheat oven to 338 degrees F, and bake them for 9 minutes.
"Ta-da~!"

๐จ Difficult to make?
Easier than any cookies๐
๐ How's the taste?
Compared to Starbucks cookies,
I would prefer to buy theirs instead.
It's not that these cookies are bad,
it's just that the ones from Starbucks are simply too delicious.
